Hello again, and welcome to our monthly newsletter. Much like June, July has seen another wave of new players. We hope you're enjoying the game! Feel free to join us on Discord to get help, share your experiences or suggest ideas for the future.

As announced last time, Myth Through Time launched with Olympus: Gods & Monsters, and it's proving popular. No doubt a certain film currently showing has helped! I caught it a few days ago and thought it was fantastic, although I have to say our game is a little more faithful to the original mythology.

More mythological sagas

During July we launched Midgard: The Heroic Age, Duat: The Scales of Fate, Avalon: Mists of Camelot and, last week, Shenzhou: The Jade Throne, with Iram and Aztlan coming soon.

Just like our historical eras, we try to stay as canonically accurate as possible. But while the historical eras are largely an open sandbox, the myths are told in structured chapters: you complete each one to progress. It's a brand new way to enjoy an AI text adventure. See Myth Through Time.

Your Community

Forge Your Own Destiny launched last month, letting unique characters and stories be woven into our official timelines, and it has been incredibly popular.

Following soon, Craft Your Own World will let you build any setting you like. While our main focus remains historical and mythological accuracy, we're also testing a purely fantastical mode, the Unbound Engine, which will allow virtually any world to be crafted, from prehistory to science fiction.

On top of that, our new Anthology feature lets you collect a series of connected stories in one place. One community member has already created a fantastic series of MacGuffin adventures! Worlds created by players can be kept Private, made Public (so others can play them) or set to Open (so others can play and build within them), all on our new Your Community page.
